How should I dress for travel in Seattle in a week?

I will be coming to Seattle in a week from today. Should I bring rain boots, coat and umbrella? All the weather stations say showers but that could mean something different to me.How should I dress for travel in Seattle in a week?
Haha, tough to say for sure, but showers sounds about right. It's been unusually cold (hard to even say what's "unusual" as it seems like our weather has become perpetually "unusual", as compared to past weather) here for the past couple of weeks, maybe more. It's been about 10 degrees cooler than normal and has been hovering from around the 50's-60's with off-and-on showers. The rain isn't that unexpected and most people often consider the 4th of July the start of "Summer" for Seattle, though it's also rained on the 4th, haha. It won't be downpours of rain, but anything from mist that lasts a long time to drizzles here and there, but heavy rains don't really last here too often.

The umbrella could come in handy, the rain boots would probably be an overkill, and a light coat will probably be a good idea for you! Plan on the possibility of sun, too, though, as things change rather quickly around here! Could get sunny and possibly 70 or so and surprise you, so don't pack all sweaters and warm stuff!
This is a great question, because honestly, I live here and I never know how to dress from day to day! Right now, it's rainy, on the cool side, and gloomy. But by this afternoon, it could be sunny and a little warmer.

I would probably recommend a light jacket with a hood, but also bring something to wear just in case it gets a little warmer outside. Maybe what I'm trying to say is: dress in layers!

Rain boots and an umbrella? Probably not. It mostly drizzles here and hopefully, this crappy weather will clear up by next week! How should I dress for travel in Seattle in a week?
Our June has been running about 10 degrees cooler than usual. We have been averaging a high of 53-63. You are going to want to bring rain gear. "Showers" means it's going to rain off and on all day, or it could not rain, or it could rain all day. That's what they forecast everyday, and then they are never wrong! Our rain is light normally though, so if you're caught without rain gear, you'll be okay.

I would dress in layers. Have a sweater and a rain jacket. You will probably wear them all at some point in the day.
Hi, along with your umbrella carry a light windbreaker/raincoat and clothes that you can layer underneath. The wind in Seattle is cold and biting but the rain usually just drizzles constantly. Boots? Not so much; a good pair of Nike will do just fine. So... nice looking t-shirt + sweater + windbreaker + umbrella = O.K.

Hope you have fun

This is a cooler June than usual but it is not totally freezing. No on the rainboots, yes on the umbrella. A light jacket would be fine, you don't need anything too heavy. But definitely layers. Although the forecast is "showers," anything could happen.
Man, I've been freezing in Seattle lately - it feels like March weather, not June! Yeah, come ready for rain %26amp; bring clothes that you wear in layers, because you never know if it might warm up a bit - we had some really warm weather a few weeks ago...
Seattle area is predicited to have above average rain until July. We are now running 10 degrees below our average temperature this month. (Mid 50s in the day down to mid 40s at night).
I'm looking out the window, its gray, scatted rain, maybe a sweater and rain coat. showers are not likely, not in the sense of pouring rain and drenching water.
Wow! Im going to Seattle one week from today! where are you staying?
