What is the drive like from sacramento to seattle?

I will be driving up I-5 from sactown to seattle. Just a little worried cause my car is pretty old and sometimes struggles a bit going up hills. Was wondering if this drive has many long uphill stretches. I've done the coastal route before and know that that gets very curvy in the mountains and lots of hills, was hoping I-5 will be easier. What is the drive like from sacramento to seattle?
It gets a little hilly past Redding, but the elevation is low. Should be easier than the coast, and take you about 11-13 hours.
The 11-13 hour estimate is good. Interstate highways like I-5 are built to avoid excessive grades and excessive curves, so it will not be as bad as a regular state highway following a similar path, like the coast road. This route can have snow and ice problems in the winter, but it should be coming out of that now. What is the drive like from sacramento to seattle?
once you get around the city of redding you will out of the sacramento valley and getting into the hills then into the north Sierras /cascades and you will have more rest stops along i-5 then you will along the coast.
8 hr drive?
