What kinds of things can I do with my dog near Seattle, WA?

I have a two year old black lab who loves to go out and play. He likes going to dog parks, but he always ends up hurting his pads, so we can't do that very often. What other kinds of dog-friendly activities are there in/near Seattle? I live in an apartment, so it's always nice for me and my dog to get out and do something different and fun. What kinds of things can I do with my dog near Seattle, WA?
Just getting into advanced training classes can be really fun for you and your dog. And it's great when you reach a point where you can actually take what you have learned and get out to compete and show it off.

You can persue Competition Obedience, Agility, Dock Diving, Flyball and Frisbee.

For things like obedience and agility, once you've learned some things, there are usually matches held at some of the kennel clubs. A match is just like a trial, but costs less, you don't gain titles and is intended more for "ring practice" for you and your dog. But they are lots of fun to participate in.What kinds of things can I do with my dog near Seattle, WA?
I love taking my dogs for coffee... I sit and drink coffee at one of the sidewalk tables... the dogs get admired and petted.

The mall in Bellevue allows well-mannered dogs to walk up to the dog supply place on the second floor.

  • How many High school credits do you need to graduate in Seattle, Washington?

I live in Texas and may move my senior year to Seattle. How many High school credits do you need to graduate in Seattle, Washington?
    20 credits to graduate.

You also need to have a 2.0 GPA, pass the state High School Proficiency exam, complete a culminating project, create a "high school and beyond" plan, and perform 60 hours of community service.

But the specifics of these items are changing depending on what your graduating year is - over the next 3 years they are adding more required classes in math, expanding the sections of the proficiency exam you must pass to include math and science (in addition to reading/writing)

Try Anthony's or Ivar's for lunch.

Anthony's is a nice sit down and is a chain restaurant that is very popular throughout Seattle as a seafood restaurant with locals. It's reasonably priced for seafood as well, and it's great for lunch. It's located at 6135 Seaview Ave NW.

Ivar's is also a good spot for lunch. Ivar's is an icon of Seattle and is famous for their seafood. Ivar's can be fast food and there are sit down restaurants as well. For sit down, try Ivar's Acres of Clams. It's located on 1001 Alaskan Way, Pier 54. While it's a hot spot for nice dinners, it's also a good lunch spot as well. Can anyone suggest a nice but reasonably priced seafood reataurant in Seattle?

Where can I get curry leaft plant or seeds in the Seattle area?

I am looking to grow curry LEAF plants (Murraya koenigii). Either a small plant, or seeds will work. Is there any nursery in the Seattle area that sells these? I did a lot of looking online, but could only find California and east coast sources. I am looking for local sources.

Thank you.Where can I get curry leaft plant or seeds in the Seattle area?
Plant and seed it indoors and leave it indoors in an area which has defused sunlight and keep it away from drafts and also air registers of forced air furnaces.

  • Is it worth my trouble to purchase a flight from Seattle to Tokyo?

I am a Canadian resident living in Vancouver BC, Canada. Seattle is a 3 hr drive away. On the Travelocity site I found that taking off from Seattle instead of Vancouver can save a few hundred dollars. First, is it possible for a Canadian to purchase a ticket for a flight to another country from Seattle, and second, what are the exemptions/restrictions one can bring back into the States, and then take back home into Canada? Any taxes need to be paid? Thanks in advance. Is it worth my trouble to purchase a flight from Seattle to Tokyo?
That is what I did. I saved about $180CDN. It is very worth it. I only ended up paying roughly $400 for my ticket(round trip)

I left from Seattle 3 years ago but I haven't come back yet. I am also from Vancouver :)

Go Canucks. hahahaIs it worth my trouble to purchase a flight from Seattle to Tokyo?
    well trouble is one thing.

time is a whole other thing.

if you have enough time to burn and never do anything anyway go ahead.

but why not rest otherwise and enjoy the trip when you get to japan.

dont you think so. it does not matter how you get there. its what you do when you reach there.
