Tips on moving to Seattle with no job? How much should I save to survive out there?

My dream is to move to Seattle and I feel if I don't do it now, it'll never happen. I'm single and can live cheaply. Plan on starting out at Seattle Central Community. How much should I save to survive out there? I know the economy is bad, but I really don't mind finding work in retail cashiering or something...am I being unreasonable with this goal? Is it too expensive to just plop myself in the city and see what happens? Any tips would be appreciated.Tips on moving to Seattle with no job? How much should I save to survive out there?
I didnt once, i got to Seattle with $100 bucks in my pocket and no friends or family. My first day I found a homeless shelter but in a week i was able to rent a room. You can get there broke and do daily labor work to make money but I recommend you get there with at least $1,000 so you could rent a room. Just look up rooms for rent on craigslist and you can find cheap ones. Seattle is a kind of expensive city but its expensive everywhere these days anyway.
Well, it's better than a dream to live in another country cause you can at least get a job :) If you want to stay for a couple months it would be wise to save for maybe 4 months(depending on how much you currently make) It also might be wiser to move to a place that is around 10-30 minutes away.Tips on moving to Seattle with no job? We have unemployment here like anywhere else. You can stand with a sign begging at a freeway entrance, if someone else hasn't camped in the space.
