What Seattle neighborhoods are safe and affordable to live in?

Or if anyone can suggest any Suburb of Seattle, that would be great. What Seattle neighborhoods are safe and affordable to live in?
Greenwood is a great neighborhood, easy access to both I-5 %26amp; Aurora (2 highways that run through Seattle). Its Very safe, and secure. Its just a few blocks away from the beautiful Greenlake area, which is a neighborhood that surrounds a beautiful lake that has a walking trail, picnic areas, sitting, docks, %26amp; even a child waiting pool in the summertime. Both Greenwood %26amp; Greenlake are less then 10 minutes to downtown Seattle. Have great public transportation, are not too crowded %26amp; are family friendly.
It depends on how you define ‘affordable’ and whether you want to rent or buy.

In city, I’ve always found the Capitol Hill area to be affordable. You could rent a 3 bedroom condo for about $1500 per month. To buy it, expect to pay $990,000 for a base model.

You can rent a 3 bedroom condo in Issaquah for about $1,700 per month.

You could buy a 3 bedroom condo in Issaquah for about $460,000.

If you’re okay with moving further south, try Renton. It’s convenient to get to the city without the city price. You could rent a 3 bedroom condo in Renton for $1,200 per month. Buy the same condo for about $270,000.What Seattle neighborhoods are safe and affordable to live in?
The BAD part of town is downtown and the area due east of downtown.

There's very little assault/murder, but there's a lot of crap you have to deal with there.

For in-city, look at queen anne, south lake union, uptown, belltown, and madison park.

Stay away from downtown and the central district.
none

but the closest to safe, probly west seattle
