Hi, I will make a plane connection at Seattle recently, and I will have about 14 hours hanging around the city. I plan to go to Pike Market and Boeing Factory. Can anyone tell me how to get to these two places from the international airport( by public transport), I hope the answers can be as detailed as possible. Thx.How to go to Pike market from seattle international airport?
Pike Place Market is pretty straightforward.
From baggage claim, go up the elevator one level and across to the parking garage, and follow the signs to link light rail. Take light rail into the Westlake Center station. When you get to Westlake Center, walk west until you arrive at Pike Place Market (about 5 blocks).
The Boeing Factory is more complicated. Are you talking about the original big red barn that is now part of the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field? Or are you talking about the current factory where they offer tours up in Everett? There are tours from Seattle that can get you to the Everett Plant for the tour that are straightforward but costly.
Public transit options:
Ride Community Transit bus 511 to the Lynnwood Transit Center
transfer to Community Transit bus 113 to the Future of Flight (museum and Boeing Tour)
Transit time is 1.5 hours if the connections are quick.
To look up the schedules, use the trip planner on the community transit web site and input the date and time you want to travel. Your starting destination is downtown Seattle, ending destination is the Future of Flight Museum in Everett
