Seattle....................?

Is Seattle worth visiting? I will be driving through washington to get to Alaska by car (as a english tourist) and am just wandering, what is there to see there?

Is it a nice city?

Thanks!Seattle....................?
DON'T MISS IT! if you have the opportunity to visit, definitely do it. Everyone that visits say that there is something in the air here, you just fall in love with it immediately!

Depending on how long you are here, i recommend staying in the downtown area (look into the Westin or Warwick hotels, they are both right in the heart of the city) and just walking everywhere -- Pike Place Market, Space Needle/Seattle Center/EMP/Pacific Science Center, Waterfront/Aquarium/Sculpture Park, Seattle Art Museum, and the awesome shopping in the Pacific Place/Downtown shopping district (along 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th avenues between Pike and Pine!

have so much fun!
it's a very nice city. diverse culture. each neighborhood holds something great to find. one of the best cities i have ever been inSeattle....................?
Pike Place Market they have whale watching also the Space needle and The Seattle Science Center don't go the aquarium though it is just salmon lol. The Point defiance zoo would be better it is in Tacoma.
Yes, Seattle is a special place that should not be missed if you have the opportunity to visit. If you are English, you will feel very much at home (expecially if you take the ferry to Victoria, BC, which is the most British city outside of England). Seattle's weather is comparable to that in London, but the city has its own unique character.

Pick up a Seattle tour guide and choose what intersts you. Seattle is a city rich in cultural and outdoor opportunities, very relaxed and progressive at the same time.
