it does rain a lot in seattle, but not snow... it only have 4-5 days of snow in seattle.. snow tire should be fine for the winter.. you wouldnt neccessarily need 4WD for snow unless oyu going up the mountain... any car would work for rain depend on the tread on your tire....

What are the most popular cars that people drive in Seattle?
Considering the wet roads and snow in the winter, does that change the type of car you want to have in Seattle? I need to buy an inexpensive, new, and reliable car now. Should i stick to 4 wheel drives?What are the most popular cars that people drive in Seattle?
