Hi - I am considering a move to Seattle and would appreciate any input on the best neighborhoods to live in. My budget is approximately 2200 (give or take) per month and I would prefer to rent initially. I like vibrant, fun areas, with lots of shops and restaurants, and a healthy dose of night life.What is the best neighborhood in Seattle, offering night life and vibrancy?
Capitol Hill is the most trendy neighborhood besides Belltown (downtown).
It is a magnet for Hipsters, Gays and Lesbians and Hippies.
Its a great place!!
There is always something going on at Alki Beach in West Seattle.. and it has some of the best views of the city and you can find houses or apartments near the water. Downside is on a nice summer day it seems like everyone heads there and it can get crowded.. but it's nice and has a water taxi that takes you straight to downtown. The West Seattle Junction has lots of nice shops and restaurants.
Capitol Hill probably has more night clubs..
Of course there is always the U-District..Lots of students and things to do..What is the best neighborhood in Seattle, offering night life and vibrancy?
Capitol Hill. Seattle's hipster haven.
west seattle's nice but might be too expensive...you could try Queen Anne too
