Which restaurant in the Seattle area has the most romantic atmosphere?

I am searching for a restaraunt in Seattle which would be suitable for an anniversary dinner. One with either nice views or a nice atmosphere or both, but without sacrificing the quality of the food. We had been planning on eating at the Space Needle but too many people have warned us that the food there is less then acceptable, especially for the price they charge.

Recommendations anyone?

Thanks!Which restaurant in the Seattle area has the most romantic atmosphere?
Canlis has the great views and fantastic food you are searching for. It is located in Queen Anne perched on a hill overlooking Lake Union. And the service is spectacular! It all comes with a hefty price, but if you are looking for a truly special dining experience I would highly recommend it.

My other favorite restaurant for special occasions is Cafe Juanita in Juanita (near Kirkland). Chef Holly Smith is a James Beard Award winner and has been recognized by nearly every foodie magazine in the US. She serves authentic fantastic Northern Italian cuisine. It doesn't quite have the views you are searching but it does overlook a pretty wooded area and is a very sweet, romantic spot.

Happy Anniversary!
The food at the Seattle Space Needle is obnoxiously expensive. It's displayed in a flashy way, but it doesn't taste the best, in my opinion.

Lately, Serafina was voted the most romantic restaurant in Seattle. My personal favorite is Pomodoro's, a place a friend and I found several years ago and made a favorite haunt. Both places serve excellent Italian food.

If you are looking for intimacy and a great view, one of my favorite places is Maximilien in the Pike Place Market. It has beautiful views of Eliot Bay and was voted "Best Place to Kiss" a few years ago. They serve delicious French food.

I think all of the above choices would be winners.Which restaurant in the Seattle area has the most romantic atmosphere?

Depends your price range and what kind of food you are looking for. I will say this: Space Needle is terrible! The food is horrible and so over-priced as to be a complete waste of a good view! Bleh!

In Belltown, there is The Flying Fish. Fabulous. In downtown there is Andaluca- the best place ever, if you don't mind dropping $250. In the market is a place called Maximilians- good luck!
Elliotts is a really nice restaraunt they have seafood that is delicious, and it looks out onto The Sound. It is on the pier near the aquarium.
Joey's on Lake Union.

It wasn't ridiculously priced, the atmosphere great and awesome view of Lake Union.
There are some good seafood restaurants on the piers. I can't remember what they are called though. Ivars has a restaurant part that's pretty nice.
Best source to find any price range and different types of cuisine (restaurants), ger a reveiw of the restaurant and many times even see what the menu %26amp; decor look like is www.opentable.com. It totally works we always use this site when we travel %26amp; are always amazed how seamlessly it works... good luck and bon apetit!
How about Il Bistro? Address %26amp; additional info at souce link.

It seems to compete with Serafina for "Most Romantic" and customers seem to agree. According to the menu, they serve up dishes like Pettine di Mare (seared sea scallops over traditional cappellini pomodoro with fried basil %26amp; dried prosciutto) as well as pear %26amp; gorgonzola ravioli

in brown butter sauce with grape tomatoes, organic baby spinach %26amp; shaved asiago.
