What things to consider when moving to Seattle with a 1 year old baby?

I am an Indian woman. My husband is planning to move to Seattle for his Job .

My concern is our 1 year old baby.



My baby likes home made food (typical raggi kheer and other Indian food). Is that kind of Indian food available in Seattle? If yes where and what items?



Is it ok for 1 year old baby to get admitted in a day care? What are the regular charges in Seattle?

A one year old can definitely go to daycare. The prices are based on how long you need them in care and what facility you are looking at. Anywhere from $150-$500 a week.



There is Indian food, tons of Indian restaurants and shops carry products for you to cook them yourself as well. Each restaurant has it's own menu. Try going to google maps and then searching for businesses in your local area. Then you will know what is close by.



You can keep your baby busy and active by playing with him and getting him outside... same as you are doing now.
