How long does it take from Sacramento California to Seattle Washington?

How long does it take from Sacramento California to Seattle Washington? (By driving) (I-5)

And what is weather and road condition like in between late December and early January. How long does it take from Sacramento California to Seattle Washington?
Ballpark guess is that it is about 700 miles (give or take). You will be traveling in the Winter, and there are mountainous areas of Northern Cal, and Oregon, however you will be on one of the busiest Interstate highways on the West coast, and the authorities make great efforts to keep the road open.

Both Oregon, and California have 24/7 toll free Highway Information hot lines. California's number is 1-800-427-6723. Don't remember Oregon's number.
There are about 620 miles between Sacramento and Seattle. If you were driving 70 miles per hour, it would take about 9 hours. If you were driving 60, it would take about 10 hours.

It's around 30/40 degrees in Seattle in December and January. It rains often, but it doesn't rain as much as people say it does...

The roads are okay. People drive slow in Seattle :/ As for Sacramento, It's not very cold there, either.

Hope I helped! How long does it take from Sacramento California to Seattle Washington?
Do you "have" to drive it because you're moving up here or are you just visiting? If you're just visiting then why not fly? I flew recently from Seattle to Sacramento on Alaska Airlines and it was only $150 roundtrip and I was there in an hour and a half! Driving would be over 750 miles and 12 hours! Gas alone would cost you as much as $200 round trip!

edit: 620 miles? Maybe as the "crow files" but driving it is 754.3 miles up I-5.
