depending on how you get to Vancouver, car, boat or aircraft, you will show your passport and ID just as you would at any other border crossing. you should have no problem based on the documents you listed above.

you have a couple of different ways to get to Vancouver BC from Seattle. You could drive up I-5 and cross the border in Blaine, be sure to visit the Peace Portal Arch there. you could take the high speed cruise ship aka the Victoria Clipper from Seattle to Vancouver, here's the link http://www.clippervacations.com/ or you could fly from SeaTac airport into Vancouver. Of course there is much to do and see in Seattle, the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Pike's Place Market and so much more.

In Vancouver, be sure to go the Royal Canadian Museum of Science and Nature, the Vancouver Zoo and Aquarium and if you can get up to Buchwald Gardens, which is still amazing, even in winter. If you have time, check out Simon Frazier University, they have a great paleontology museum on campus. The waterfront pavillions can also provide some good entertainment, great beer and food.

have fun!
I am a canadian living in the usa. I too am travelling to Seattle and then into Canada. The first time I rented a car I just asked the sales agent from the car rental place for a map and please direct me to where I needed to go. It was so simple. Have faith it will all work out.How to go Canada from seattle by car?
Are you asking how to get from Seattle to Vancouver by car? Well...I probably shouldn't be answering this question because I don't know the name of the highway that you have to take..but someone else will answer that most likely. Anyways, I live in Vancouver and there are many things to see here! Stanley Park, the Aquarium, various mountains (Grouse, which is around a 45 minute drive from downtown, and Whistler, which is around a 2 1/2 hour drive), and lots of wonderful shopping downtown!
You should not have any trouble however I would check with the Canadian Consulate first to make sure that a visa is not required. As for getting up the I-5 will take you right up to Canada crossing at the Peace Arch Border Crossing. Depending on the day you could be in for a wait so be prepared for that.

Vancouver has a lot to do, it depends on what you like. Besides museums there is skiing just out of the city (Grouse Mountain), a variety of restaurants and clubs, and, if you plan on staying a few days, Whistler is just a1 to 2 hour drive from Vancouver. If you get a chance you could also take the ferry from Tswassen to Swartz Bay (Victoria) which has an "English" feel to it in parts along with the Royal BC Museum, the Parliaments Buildings, and several other things to see and do.
you might have some problems crossing the border with U.S. green card, the Indian passport is not gonna do any good if your a U.S. resident... you might wanna talk to the immigration office or contact the canadian embassy in U.S. first....
just use I-5
If you bring your birth certificate then they'll let you over the border.

But, they might not let you back.
Very sticky at the border these days. I am presuming the green card means you can work in the U.S.A. Should be able to cross border with your Indian passport but please check beforehand - the drive from Seattle to Vancouver is about 3 hours.
