What are the Best and Worst Seattle neighborhoods?

Hello! I'm moving to Seattle later this year and know very little about the individual neighborhoods there.

I'm in my early 20s and want to live somewhere clean, safe and quiet with plenty of things to do within walking distance (parks, cafes, etc). I'm not into the night scene so wouldn't want to live in a party type of neighborhood.

So the question is.....

What do you think the Best Seattle neighborhoods are?

And the one that everyone always seems to be able to agree on.....

What are the Worst, or most dangerous, neighborhoods in Seattle? What are the Best and Worst Seattle neighborhoods?
Best Seattle Neighborhoods:

Queen Anne (closer to the top would be great since that is where the grocery stores, cafes, mellow bars, great restaurants,

BALLARD (excellent neighborhood. expensive but lots of apartments) Fremont - lots of personality

Greenlake - lots of things to do and walk to.

Wallingford Area - the farther away from the AVE the better

Around the University Village area nearer Laurelhurst neighborhood.

Phinney Ridge / Zoo Neighborhood

Okay neighborhoods: North Seattle/Northgate, The closer to NOrthgate Mall the better however the other side of Aurora gets pretty sketchy or actually nearer to Aurora is sketchy

Madison Park - expensive but nice area careful though because it goes from very safe to very sketchy in a course of a block as you get closer to downtown.

Busy Neighborhoods and safety is not as great as the neighborhoods listed above: Capitol Hill, Eastlake, Closer to the Ave in the U. District,

Definately sketchy kinds scary neighborhoods although some parts are okay:

Beacon Hill, West Seattle (parts of it), downtown parts are okay but some areas are not okay like Belltown (lots of homeless and really probably too busy for you), Ranier Valley (oh god, very very sketchy), Columbia City (trying to be gentrified but still kinda scary),
Best:

Greenwood/Phinney

Greenlake

Ballard

Capital Hill

University District (south of 52nd)

Fremont

Okay neighborhoods:

Wedgewood

Maple Leaf

South end of Northgate

Downtown Seattle

Bad:

Central District

First Hill

International District
